The Super Eagles have been training consistently since the January 2009. During last summer, the Gothia Cup Team had an additional training session/week in preparation, and the extra session per week will continue again this year. The Super Eagles who are going to Gothia will be training on average 4 times per week along with a league game/week.

2 Weeks before the boys are to leave for they will have a 12 day training camp in preparation for the tournament training almost every day during the buildup to the tournament.

All the boys and parents have been committed to the additional training sessions, working extremely hard towards their goal of getting through the group stages on the tournament
