Due to the level of committment shown by the players and the undertaking of a trip to the Gothia Cup in 2010, the LSS has dedicated their website to the team. The Oakridge Super Eagles won the Boys U13 LDYSL Indoor Challenge Cup after a good performance against the other 1998 boys team in the U13 Division London Marconi. The Super Eagles played very well in the finals, playing with a lot of intensity and heart in their last indoor game of the year. They were rewarded with a 4-0 final score, which they can be proud of.
Congrats to all the boys who played indoor this year, it was truly a fantastic season.
The Oakridge Super Eagles are LDYSL Indoor Boys U13 League Champions for 2009/10 Indoor Season. Congrats to all the boys on their consisten play over the course of the Indoor Season!! The boys clinched the League Title after an intensely fought battle against Woodstock this past Sunday.
The Oakridge Super Eagles are U14 LDYSL Indoor League Champions!! Playing two years up the boys have played tremendously well throughout the 18 game season this Winter. The boys have shown tremendous heart and determination while playing against players up to 2 years older than the boys. Congrats to all the players and parents after a wonderful indoor season.
After a fantastic outdoor campaign, the Oakridge Super Eagles followed it up with strong Challenge Cup performances on route to the Cup. The boys had some fantastic performances especially in the Semi's and Finals. Congrats to the boys on their level of play and performances!

The Super Eagles spent their Labour Day Weekend playing in the John Henderson Memorial tournament here in London, Ontario. Having decided to play a year up they faced some tough competition in the Silver Division. They excelled in all the games and in the end had a terrific weekend against some tough opposition!

The Gothia Cup Fundraising has kicked off for the Oakridge Super Eagles as the BBQ they put on for the Oakridge House League End of Year Tournament was a huge success raising $550.00. Thanks to all the parents who bought hamburdges, hot dogs and the I Love Soccer Magnets!
The Oakridge Super Eagles are LDYSL Boys U11 Premier (L5) League Champions accumulating a record of 17 Wins, 1 Tie and 0 Losses during the year. The boys played some terrific soccer over the course of the outdoor season, with each boy continuing to develop. The highlight from the year has to be the Goals Against Record of 4, while scoring a total of 132 goals for a Goal Differential of 128.
A few Super Eagles participated in the Club International Soccer (www.clubinternationalsoccer.com) Summer Camp in July this year held in Wheaton, Illinois. The Soccer camp was attended by more than 140 youths from 6-14. The boys had a great week, getting great training in the morning and different sightseeing activities in the evening!

The Boys also took in the Chicago Fire PDL vs. FC London game at Toyota Park providing awesome support throughout the game!
Super Eagles would like to thank FC London player Alan McGreal for coaching their team camp on June 28 to July 3!! The boys had a great time getting to know one of FC London's fan favourites as they worked with him for 15 hours over the course of the week. A thanks also goes out to coaching volunteers Andrew Blake (London City Gunners U13) and Ryan Pereira (London City Arsenal U14, Ontario Provincial Team U14)
After a very very wet weekend, the Super Eagles lost in a thrilling final to the host Bluewater Boys U12 L4 WOYSL Team. The boys showed lots of heart and determination fighting through the puddled fields as they secured a place in the finals with two great performances on Sunday. Congrats to the boys and thanks to the parents who braved the cold!!

Player two years up the boys performed extremely well, competing hard in each game against much tough, older and physical opponents. The boys suprised many with their play and can be proud of their efforts, losing to eventual winners in the semi-finals.

The Oakridge Super Eagles have finished their indoor season in the LDYSL Boys U12 (1997) Division. The boys performed superbly throughout the year and many can atest they were a fun team to watch. Finishing with a 12-3-3 record, with 71 GF and 19 GA is a great achievement playing against 9 other teams all a year older. Congrats to the boys for a great season.
The Oakridge Super Eagles played some great soccer, this past U13 tournament with the boys putting it a tremendous amount of work playing 6v6 for the first time ever. The boys adjusted to the extra space, and competition 2 years older really well. They exceeded expectations when they tied a game, only to win a game later in the round robin and kept they're level of performance up to advance into the Semi-Finals where they lost on PKs after a thrilling match.
Congrats to all the boys and keep up the hard work, great to see boys perform so well.

The CIBC Run for the Cure was held at Victoria Park on October 5th and raised $860.00 for the cause! The Super Eagles had 18 participants on their 'Run for the Cure' team as both parents and sibilngs were also involved. All the players ran the 5K and did amazingly well, the coaches and parents are extremely proud of the boys for their participation and fundraising.
The Oakridge Super Eagles Boys '98 Competitive Soccer team coached by Rahim Mohamed will be attending the Gothia Cup 2010 held in Gothenburg, Sweden. This tournament is the biggest youth tournament of any kind in the world with 1600 teams from over 65 different naitons participating yearly!

The Oakridge Super Eagles Boys`98 Soccer team completed their 18 Game LDYSL season this year amassing a record of 17 Wins and 1 Loss. The boys performed extremely well and remained consistent throughout the season outscoring opponents 114 to 27, the team boasted a constant threat when attacking the opposition and a stingy defense. The boys came together well both on and off the field which showed through their performances on the soccer pitch.

The Oakridge Super Eagles were recently crowned Challenge Cup Champions after a fantastic final against opponents Middlesex United Drive. In the end the Super Eagles came from behind to take the final 3-1. The boys played some magnificent soccer en route to the final, and should be proud of their achievements this season.

The past weekend July 3-6 the Oakridge Super Eagles participated in the Toronto Cup which is considered one of Canada's most international tournaments with teams from Mexico, Brazil, USA, Scotland. The Super Eagles arrived in Toronto full of enthusiasm ready to take on strong competition from Toronto. The boys, excelled in the humid conditions as they remained undefeated during the tournament to be crowned Champions!!

Oakridge Super Eagles ('98) took Woodstock by storm this weekend as they competed successfully against '97 born players. The boys showed their skill, determination, team spirit, heart and work ethic as they took each team by suprise. Although the boys were unable to convert their chances in the final, they played tremendously well and should be proud of their efforts.
